Foxboro Jaycees will be attending December 5 -- members please join us that night -- call Monica Rigamonti -- payment is due NO LATER than 11/26.

What: Each December, the Foxboro Jaycees welcome Santa Claus to Foxboro Common for a free afternoon of pictures with Santa, cookies, and other surprises. Each year we welcome about 300 kids.

When: Sunday, December 7, 2008. Noon - 2:00pm

What: A Christmas party for children of (or related to) current Foxboro Jaycees members. Crafts, snacks, juice, coffee and a visit from Santa with pictures.

When: Sunday, December 7, 2008. 10:30am -noon.

Where: Cocasset River Recreation Hall - Mill Street.

Chair: Call Dawn Rossi (no later than November 30) to sign up. Please have names, ages, and $10 gift ideas when you call.

REMINDER: We are going to take an updated chapter picture at this GM – our “current” group image is over five years old! Please try to attend this meeting and wear/bring a Jaycee t-shirt or sweatshirt to wear for the photo!

About our General Membership Meeting... Each month the Foxboro Jaycees membership meets to discuss chapter business. We hear reports from the President, area vice presidents, treasurer, donations director, dues director, and secretary. We eat, we socialize, we get business done. You are invited to join us... Anyone 18 or over is welcome to come to our meeting. There won't be a sales pitch, you don't need to be a member... What: The Progressive Dinner is the Jaycees Holiday Party, and we have a great time doing it. We ask for volunteers to cook part of a meal or host part of the night at their home. Small groups gather at the "appetizer" house, and small groups of 8 dine at the "dinner" houses. Then the whole chapter gathers at the "dessert" house for dessert, music, and holiday cheer!

What: The Jaycees gather and create 200 baskets of fresh fruit that we deliver with the discretionary fund food boxes.

Not a Jaycee project but help is needed --

The Foxboro Discretionary Fund will be delivering the Christmas food baskets (including the Jaycee Fruit baskets) on Thursday December 18 at 6:00 pm. Lisa Downs, who heads the Discretionary Fund, will be at Saint Marks Church in Foxboro all day and can always use extra hands to help! Also, if you wish to help with deliveries she asks that 1) Please come in pairs; 2) Please -- no children to ensure confidentiality of deliveries. Please call Lisa at 508-698-3460 if you can help! What: Each December, the Foxboro Jaycees invite the town to join us for an evening of Christmas Caroling. The Foxboro High School Christmas Chorus Band, under the direction of Steve Massey, provides the music, and Jaycees bring hot chocolate and cookies. From there, we head to the Doolittle Home to entertain the seniors with our Christmas music.
