Norwood Hospital Kicks Off Norwood Day with 10th Annual Road Race & Walk

NORWOOD, MA – Bring family and friends for a healthy, fun start to Norwood Day at Norwood Hospital’s 10th Annual 4-Mile Road Race and Walk, Saturday, September 15, 2012. The race will take place rain or shine.

“We are so pleased to mark the 10-year anniversary of both Norwood Day and the hospital road race,” said Emily Holliman, President of Norwood Hospital. “We invite runners and walkers from around the area to join us for this annual event in support of our town and this great day for the whole family.”

Race Information
Registration is 7 am – 8:30 am at the front of the hospital, 800 Washington Street, Norwood. The race starts at 9 am and runs over a fun, residential course, including past the new Norwood High School. The first 150 adult entrants will receive long-sleeve t-shirts, denoting the hospital’s 10th anniversary road race. The race is USATF sanctioned.

Adult entry fee is $25 by September 7 and $30 after. Running club entry fee is $20 per runner by September 7, with a minimum of 5 runners registered.

Awards Ceremony
Medallions will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall, and to the top male and female finishers in several age categories. Music and refreshments provided.
