Watch Local Veterans’ Oral History

In honor of Veterans Day, Foxboro Cable Access has scheduled a series of programs on the Government Channel that feature interviews with Foxborough Veterans who served in World War II and more recently. Some of the programs were taped about ten years ago as part of collaboration between the Foxboro Senior Center and the FHS Communication Arts class under the direction of Mrs. Paula Pedroli. Others were taped more recently by local producer Neil Kaiser. All of them were sent on to the Library of Congress to be included in the Veterans’ Oral History Project that is an ongoing effort to document the stories and experiences of veterans nationwide.

The programs will be shown over the next week on The Government Channel (Comcast 22 / Verizon 38). The complete schedule with detailed times and dates are listed on the FCA website: www.fcatv.org . For additional information on this programming or to learn more about other FCA activities and training which is offered at no charge to town residents, please contact FCA Executive Director Michael Webber at 508-543-4757.
