Outdoor ice skating – Carnival party – Storytime – Photos with Super Bowl XXXVI Championship ring – Candy Land party and more

From carnival and Candy Land parties to children’s storytime and a photo opportunity with a Patriots Super Bowl championship ring, there is something for everyone at Patriot Place during school vacation week.

The family fun kicks off on Friday, Dec. 23, with outdoor ice skating at Winter Skate at Patriot Place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. outside the Patriots ProShop and CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar. Adding to the fun will be a balloon artist inside the Winter Skate tent from 1-5 p.m. The activities continue on Monday, Dec. 26, with a carnival party inside the Patriot Place Activity Center located across from Bar Louie. The party is being held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes spin art and face painting.

Other highlights throughout the week include a special storytime reading of “The ABC’s of Cookies” followed by a special appearance by the Cookie Monster at 5 Wits on Dec. 27, a Candy Land party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the Patriot Place Activity Center on Dec. 28 featuring life sized versions of the popular board game and a visit from the Children’s Museum to 5 Wits from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 28 where children will get to make their own noise makers to ring in the New Year.

Over at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon, visitors will receive a free 2016 Patriots Yearbook with regular admission to The Hall from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2 and can enter to win a Rob Ninkovich signed football. Then, on Dec. 31, those who visit The Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will get the chance to take their photo with the Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI championship ring in recognition of the 15th anniversary of the Patriots first Super Bowl championship.

Additionally, Splitsville Luxury Lanes™ | Howl at the Moon will open at a new time of 11 a.m. for bowling and family fun over the holiday break.

Dec. 23
Winter Skate (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) –
Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Balloon artist at Winter Skate (1-5 p.m.) – Winter Skate visitors will enjoy a special appearance from Patriot Place’s balloon artist from 1 to 5 p.m.

Dec. 24
Win a Rob Ninkovich autographed football –
Visit The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2 and enter to win an autographed football signed by Patriots defensive end Rob Ninkovich.

Receive a free copy of the 2016 Patriots Yearbook – Receive a free 2016 Patriots Yearbook with regular admission to The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2 (while supplies last).

 

Dec. 26
Carnival party (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) –
Enjoy carnival games, including spin art and face painting, in the Patriot Place Activity Center across from Bar Louie. Event is free and open to all ages. First come, first served.

Winter Skate (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) – Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Live DJ at Winter Skate (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) – Winter Skate visitors will enjoy a special appearance from a live DJ while they ice skate.

Caricature artist at Winter Skate (3-6 p.m.) – Winter Skate visitors will enjoy a special appearance from Patriot Place’s caricature artist.

Dollar YUMMM Hour at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt (5-6 p.m.) – Visit Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt from 5-6 p.m. and enjoy a cup of frozen yogurt for $1 (one per guest, $10 maximum cup).

 

Dec. 27
Storytime at 5 Wits (11 a.m.) – Visit 5 Wits for Patriot Place’s weekly Storytime and enjoy a special reading of “The ABC’s of Cookies” followed by a special    appearance by Cookie Monster. (Event is first come, first served).

Mini Giant Games Party (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) – Enjoy Patriot Place’s Mini Giant Games party featuring face painting at the Patriot Place Activity Center across from Bar Louie. (Event is free and open to all ages. First come, first served).

Winter Skate (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) – Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Kids Eat Free at Menchie’s (2-4 p.m.) – Visit Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt on Dec. 27 and kids can eat free from 2-4 p.m. (One cup per child up to 10 oz. Must be 10 years or younger to qualify for offer).

 

Dec. 28
Zo & Bertrand live at CBS Scene (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) –
Join Zo & Bertrand at CBS Scene for their live weekly broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub. Eat lunch (featuring half-priced pizza), enter to win weekly prizes, including Patriots merchandise and gear up for game day as Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand break down Patriots football.

The Children’s Museum at 5 Wits (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) – The Children’s Museum in Easton presents S.T.E.M. fun for kids at 5 Wits from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children will create their own noise makers for New Year’s and shadow puppet to celebrate the Chinese New Year. (Event is free and open to all ages. Event is first come, first served).

Candy Land party (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) – Enjoy Patriot Place’s Candy Land party featuring life-sized versions of the popular board game from inside the Patriot Place Activity Center. (Event is free and open to all ages. First come, first served).

Appearances by the Revs Street Team and Slyde (noon to 5 p.m.) – The New England Revolution Street Team and Revs mascot, Slyde, will visit the Winter Skate outdoor rink and host giveaway and fun and games from noon to 5 p.m.

Balloon twisting at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) – Visit Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt and enjoy balloon twisting with Dan’s Balloons. (Balloon twisting is free and open to all ages. First come, first served).

 

Dec. 30
Twister Party (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) –
Enjoy Patriot Place’s Twister party where the board games come to life featuring temporary tattoos and assorted carnival games from inside the Patriot Place Activity Center. (Event is free and open to all ages. First come, first served).

Dec. 31

Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Caricature artist at Winter Skate (2-5 p.m.) – Winter Skate visitors will enjoy a special appearance from Patriot Place’s caricature artist.

The Hall’s Photos with Super Bowl XXXVI Ring (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) – Visit The Hall at Patriot Place on New Year’s Eve and have your photo taken with the Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI championship ring. This season marks the 15th anniversary of the Patriots first Super Bowl championship.  

Jan. 1

Appearance by Magic 106.7 Street Team (1-3 p.m.) – Winter Skate visitors will enjoy a special appearance from the Magic 106.7 Street Team.

Balloon Artist at Winter Skate (2:30-6:30 p.m.) – Winter Skate visitors will enjoy a special appearance from Patriot Place’s balloon artist from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
