Foxboro Cable Access (“FCA”) operates the FCA YouTube Automation application (the “App”). This policy explains what the App does and how it handles information.
What the App is
The App is an internal tool used by authorized FCA staff to manage FCA’s own YouTube channel. FCA livestreams many of its programs and later publishes an edited version of the same program. The App changes the original livestream recording’s visibility on YouTube to “unlisted” once the edited version is published, so viewers are not presented with two copies of the same program.
Information the App accesses
The App connects to the YouTube Data API using authorization granted by FCA’s own Google account. It accesses only information belonging to FCA’s own YouTube channel, limited to video identifiers, titles, and visibility (privacy) status, and it changes the visibility status of FCA’s own livestream recordings.
The App does not access, collect, or store personal information about YouTube viewers, subscribers, commenters, or any other third party. It does not access data from any Google account other than FCA’s own.
How information is used and shared
Information accessed through the API is used solely to operate the App as described above. FCA does not sell, rent, trade, or share this information with third parties, and it is not used for advertising or analytics.
FCA’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and revocation
The authorization credential the App uses is stored on FCA-controlled systems and is used only to operate the App. Access can be revoked at any time through the security settings of FCA’s Google account, which immediately disables the App.
