The New England Patriots are hosting a free evening of football on Friday, Aug. 1, with two special events for fans and local residents to enjoy as the team returns to the field for the 2014 season.
Prior to the annual in-stadium practice for Patriots season ticket members and Foxborough and South Walpole residents, fans are invited to attend the 2014 Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony for former cornerback and three-time Super Bowl champion Ty Law on the NRG Plaza outside The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. The ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Later in the evening, the Patriots will show their appreciation for their local communities and loyal fan base when they host the eighth annual in-stadium practice under the lights at Gillette Stadium. The team will again be thanking the residents of Foxborough and South Walpole for their continued support with complimentary tickets to the exclusive event, which is closed to the general public. Stadium gates open at 5 p.m. with practice scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Patriots’ season ticket members can find their complimentary tickets in their season ticket booklets while Foxborough residents can pick up tickets at one of the following locations:
