The Kraft family and the Partners in Patriotism Fund are now accepting applications for the 2025–2026 Partners in Patriotism Jimmy McGowan Memorial Scholarship, which provides financial support to graduating Foxborough high school seniors committed to community service.
The scholarship awards up to five $5,000 scholarships to Foxborough residents planning to attend a post-secondary education institution. Students from all high schools are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Foxborough resident and graduating high school senior
- Plan to attend a post-secondary education institution
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to community service
- Complete the scholarship application, including:
- An activity sheet detailing community service and extracurricular involvement
- An essay of at least 800 words explaining why they are deserving of the scholarship

Scholarship recipients will be announced prior to graduation.
Established in 2017, the Partners in Patriotism Scholarship program has awarded $200,000 to 40 students over the years. In 2025, the scholarship was renamed in honor of Jimmy McGowan, a charter member of the Partners in Patriotism Fund Grants Committee who passed away last year. McGowan was known for his dedication to community service and leadership, values that continue to guide the scholarship’s selection process.
The Partners in Patriotism Fund is a registered nonprofit organization established by the Kraft family in 2014. The Fund supports Foxborough-based philanthropic and community initiatives through annual monetary donations of up to $100,000. A Grants Committee comprised of Foxborough residents reviews applications and determines funding allocations.
