Community Press Release
Guests can celebrate Hanukkah with lighting of the Menorah, music, games and more
Patriot Place invites the community to come together (12/15) tonight to celebrate Hanukkah at its annual Menorah Lighting Celebration, taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. near the Dean College Stage outside Bar Louie and Citizen Crust.
Held in partnership with Temple Sinai of Sharon, the family-friendly event will feature the lighting of the menorah, music, games, and traditional holiday treats. Rabbi Joseph B. Meszler and Rabbi Julie Zupan will light the second candle of the menorah at approximately 4:30 p.m. (sundown) to mark the second night of Hanukkah.
Activities throughout the evening include a family photo opportunity, dreidel games, and complimentary treats such as homemade latkes from Citizen Crust, sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) from Zayde’s Market, and chocolate gelt.
Guests are also encouraged to bring a new or gently used coat or hat and glove set to donate to Cradles to Crayons, supporting families in need during the winter season.
The event is free and open to the public. More information about holiday events at Patriot Place can be found at patriot-place.com/holidays.
