Nonprofit organization established by the Kraft family has now awarded more than one million dollars to Foxborough-based organizations and residents in need as part of continued commitment to make a positive, lasting impact in Town of Foxborough

Earlier this year, the Partners in Patriotism (PIP) Fund reached a significant milestone, surpassing one million dollars in total donations made in support of Foxborough-based organizations and residents in need.

Established by the Kraft family in 2014, the PIP Fund is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Foxborough philanthropic and community efforts through monetary donations of up to $100,000 annually. While all funding for the PIP Fund is donated by the Kraft family, a Grants Committee comprised of Foxborough residents is appointed annually to vet grant applications and determine the allocation of funds on a monthly basis. The PIP Fund is committed to making a positive, lasting impact in the Town of Foxborough by supporting Foxborough-based groups and organizations, as well as providing financial assistance to Foxborough residents who experience an unexpected emergency or loss.

This million-dollar milestone includes more than $564,000 in donations to community initiatives, with sizeable sums donated in support of Foxborough schools ($134,400), athletic programs ($133,400), the arts ($57,000), recreation ($44,000), Founders Day ($30,250) and veteran initiatives ($16,000). The PIP Fund also granted more than $275,000 to residents in need and an additional $190,000 in scholarship funds to graduating high school seniors who are Foxborough residents. Over the years, the PIP Fund has supported 287 total grants with funding.
