HR Council Employment Law Update

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

The NVCC Human Resources Council will offer a special ANNUAL EMPLOYMENT LAW
UPDATE, presented by the Law Firm of Constangy, Brooks and Smith LLP, Boston, MA.

The update will be held from 8-11am at the training room of Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP.

The Update will provide a review of significant developments in Massachusetts and federal
employment law and immigration law.

Norwood Hospital to Host “Thinking About Becoming Pregnant?” Event

Norwood Hospital - A Caritas Family HospitalCOMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT 

Norwood, MA ─ For local couples preparing to start or expand their families, Norwood Hospital is offering special presentations twice this spring to answer their questions. The hospital’s five obstetricians and nurse leaders will be on hand to address common issues about pregnancy.  The events will be held on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, May 3 at 7:00 pm in the hospital’s Abraham-Sieracki Conference Room.

“Having a child is a very big decision.  We are here to help women and their partners navigate some of the choices they have.  We are pleased to let local couples know about the many resources available to them right here in Norwood,” said John H. Al-Jamal, MD, FACOG, chief of obstetrics/gynecology at the hospital.

In addition to meeting with physicians and nurses, couples will be able to tour the Small Miracles Maternity Unit, learn about childbirth education opportunities and hear about additional resources the hospital offers such as Children’s Hospital Boston pediatricians, and its maternal fetal medicine specialist. They will also hear from new parents who have recently delivered their babies at Norwood Hospital and receive tips for a healthy pre-pregnancy lifestyle.  Parking is free and light refreshments will be served.
