Stadium’s clear bag policy and metal detector screenings will be in effect at all ticketed events to ensure the safety of patrons and enhance the stadium experience.
Gillette Stadium’s 2016 calendar is filling up with more than 40 major sports and entertainment events already scheduled. In addition to being the full-time home of the New England Patriots (10 home games scheduled) and the New England Revolution (17 home matches scheduled) and a home for UMass football (four games scheduled), Gillette Stadium will also host a number of the summer’s hottest concerts, three Copa America international soccer matches, the world’s premier stadium SuperCross motorcycle circuit and a Monster Jam truck show.
The Board of Selectmen and the Kraft Organization invite Foxborough’s Board and Committee members and staff, along with interested residents of Foxborough, to an Open House viewing of the newest improvements to Gillette Stadium.
During the past year, Gillette Stadium has unveiled several new improvements such as the new Optum Field Lounge, the new Draft Kings Lounge, the new Cross Insurance Pavilion and two new “Super Boxes”. This is an opportunity to view and discuss recent, ongoing or future components of the stadium and to gain a further understanding of the areas that are within the purview of our various town boards and committees as permits are routinely requested and discussed throughout the year.
The Open House is scheduled for Thursday, October 22 at 4:00 P.M. and is expected to last 60 to 75 minutes. Anyone who is planning to attend, the tour will begin at the Blue Gate under the Lighthouse Bridge of the Stadium starting at 4:00 P.M.
