The holidays are a time to be thankful and give to those who are less fortunate. In that spirit, Patriot Place will celebrate the annual lighting of its Holiday Giving Tree to benefit charitable partner, Cradles to Crayons. The seventh annual tree lighting celebration will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, from 4-6:30 p.m. outside of Splitsville Luxury Lanes ™ | Howl at the Moon.
The Giving Tree will feature ornaments with special holiday requests from children in need. Beginning on Nov. 20, Patriot Place visitors can take an ornament from the Giving Tree and purchase the assigned gift to fulfill a child’s wish. Gifts can be dropped off throughout the holiday season to the Patriot Place Management Office, located between Skipjack’s and Bar Louie, or at any participating Patriot Place tenant.
“We are proud to partner with a great organization like Cradles to Crayons, as they provide one of the basic necessities to children in our area – warm coats, hats and gloves during the winter months,” said Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley. “We look forward to kicking off the holiday season with the lighting of our annual Holiday Giving Tree and hope the generosity of our staff and guests can make winter a little more bearable and the holiday season a little more enjoyable for these families in need.”
The Tree Lighting Celebration features live holiday music and special appearances by the New England Patriots Cheerleaders and Junior Cheerleaders, team mascot Pat Patriot, Rudolph and Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. with musical performances leading up to the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m.Following the tree lighting, the Patriots Junior Cheerleaders will perform a holiday sing-a-long around the Giving Tree and guests are invited to enjoy sleigh rides from 6:30-8:30 p.m. around Patriot Place, beginning outside of Life is good.
Additionally, Winter Skate at Patriot Place presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, located outside of CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar, will be offering free admission with coat or hat and glove set donations to Cradles to Crayons on Nov. 20.
