Families and neighbors across Greater Boston are invited to an afternoon of free, kid-friendly fun at the upcoming Back to School Bash, hosted by Grace Chapel.The event will take place on Saturday, August 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and features carnival-themed games, activities, food, and treats to help families gear up for the fall semester.
The Back to School Bash is entirely free to the public with no registration required. The event will be hosted simultaneously across Grace Chapel’s four campuses in Lexington, Wilmington, Watertown, and Foxboro.
Free Shoe Giveaway
Thanks to donations from the Grace Chapel community, the church will be giving away 1,825 pairs of new shoes to children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Shoes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Children must be present to receive their pair.
- Families will receive a pair of shoes for each elementary-aged child in their family.
